I’m a little partial to this next newbie. She’s the class clown, way stronger than she knows, and she’s my Mom. I hope you have a chance to meet her & laugh with her because she’s on the same journey most of you may be on. And she’s killing it. J: What do you do for a living?
L: I’m a Realtor.
J: Where are you from? Where did you grow up?
L: Born & raised in Rochester, Minnesota.
J: What brought you to CrossFit Progression?
L: My daughter encouraged me to try Boot Camp.
J: What’s your favorite thing to do outside of the gym?
L: Reading, cooking, playing Candy Crush.
J: We have Hip Hop Friday, but do we need to talk about an entire day at the gym devoted to Country music?
L: Yes, we do.
J: Favorite cheat meal?
L: Tacos.
J: What’s your favorite healthy recipe?
L: Grilled fresh vegetables.
J: Would you rather: Clean & Jerk or Overhead Squat?
L: Overhead Squat.
J: Would you rather: Leopard Crawl or Mountain Climbers?
L: Mountain Climbers.
J: What’s your least favorite movement?
L: Burpees.
J: What’s your perfect WOD?
L: Tabata – squats, pushups, kb thrusters.
J: What goal(s) are you currently chasing?
L: To become fit and wear a size 6 again!
J: What’s one thing that your fellow CFP members would be surprised to know about you?
L: I am very, very self-conscious.
J: What’s the hardest part of CrossFit?
L: Running/Sprinting.
J: What’s the best thing you’ve gotten out of your time at CFP?
L: Results, more energy, feeling better about myself.
J: Favorite piece of advice you’ve gotten from a coach at CFP?
L: You can do this! Never give up!
J: What’s your spirit animal?
L: Dog.
J: How has your outlook on yourself changed since joining CrossFit Progression?
L: It has improved more than I could have imagined.
J: What has been your fondest memory during your time at CFP?
L: Making friends at boot camp.
J: How is your experience at CFP different from what you’ve done previously?
L: This is the first time doing classes at a gym.
J: What would be your one piece of advice for someone who’s just joining CrossFit Progression?
L: Work hard and you will achieve the results you are looking for.
