What do you do for a living?
CRNA- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (I put people to sleep for surgery)
What’s your favorite thing to do outside of the gym?
Spend time with my family

Depends on the day: Pizza or spaghetti

Do you hate wall balls as much as we do?
Actually I kinda like them. Don’t hate me.
What’s your favorite movement?
Deadlifts
What’s your least favorite movement?
Pullups-mostly because I can’t do them, but hey that’s why you keep going right?
What goal(s) are you currently chasing?
Trying to rehab my ACL so I can start running again!
Best piece of advice you’ve gotten from a coach?
So many things at different times. Lately it’s been very helpful with modifications for my injury. Otherwise just the constant support I feel I get to continue to give my best and keep trying.
How do you make time to get to the gym?
I get up super early and get it done before work, otherwise I know I won’t get there.
Why do you make time to get to the gym?
It’s a stress reliever for me and I feel so much better.
How has your outlook on fitness changed since starting CrossFit?
It’s a frame of mind and requires good habits of working out, eating, sleeping, etc.
How has your outlook on yourself changed since starting CrossFit?
I’m happier with how I’m progressing because I can see I’m getting stronger.
How would you explain the feeling before you get to the gym each day?
Tired.
How would you explain the feeling you get after you leave the gym each day?
Refreshed, ready to start my day.
How has as your life outside of CrossFit changed since joining CFP?
I’m much better at monitoring the food I eat.
What has been your fondest memory during your time at CFP?
Shedding 1:39 off of my baseline workout time, and losing 4 inches in 6 weeks, I didn’t think I could do that!
What brought you to CFP?
The personalized coaching I knew I would get with bootcamp.
What keeps you at CFP?
The sense of community and encouragement from everyone. The awesome coaching.
What would be your one piece of advice for someone who’s just joining CFP?
Remember you are on your own fitness journey. Don’t get down if your neighbor is ahead of you, keep plugging away. Pretty soon you’ll be the fast one. Remember to ask questions of your coaches if you have them, they are there for you 110%.
