Get to know Progression’s newest Full-Time Team Member!!
Kristina has always had a passion for fitness. Competing in many sports throughout high school, she learned that she did not want to give it up. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in May of 2016 with a BS degree in Exercise Science and Sports Management. During her four years there, she ran on the cross country and track team. She coached a youth running team her senior year of college and realized coaching was something that she had a huge interest in. Post graduation, she moved back to Rochester, where she calls home and has pursued both an internship with CrossFit Progression and with Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine.
Outside of CrossFit, Kristina enjoys taking her dog, Husker, for trail runs, jamming out to whatever is playing on the radio, and binge-watching her favorite shows on Netflix.
Kristina plans to get her Level 1 CrossFit certification in October, 2016. She is looking forward to the challenge of coaching such a high-intensity program. She finds the Progression community to be a very close-knit family and is hoping to make her way into the hearts of the coaches and members alike.
