What is grit? Day 4


Yesterday we talked about perseverance, today we will talk about resilience.

Toughness, the ability to rebound quickly. Fall down, get up. All things we think of when we hear the word resilience.

Resilient people are optimistic. They do not take themselves too seriously. You won’t find a resilient person comparing themselves to others. They take their current situation and adapt appropriately.

Resilient people radically accept the bumps and setbacks and get back to work. A growth mindset also seems to go along with the resilient, the setbacks and bumps are seen as pathways to improvement.

Resilient people measure their success based on where they have come from, what they have done, not on how others are doing compared to them.
