Andrew “Roo” Yori is a certified CrossFit instructor at CrossFit Progression in Rochester, MN.  A life long athlete, Roo has competed in multiple sports throughout his years.  His main sport, which he started at the age of 4, played as a 4 year starter in college, and continues to enjoy today, is soccer. Roo is also a National Champion and World Champion Frisbee dog handler with his dog Wallace the Pit Bull, and is often found doing handstands on various objects around the gym.  After discovering CrossFit, Roo noticed a considerable increase in performance on and off the field as a result of the training.  He was hooked from the start, and enjoys sharing his knowledge with others so they can experience the same benefits in their day to day lives.  Roo’s favorite moments as a coach are spent watching members achieve milestones they often didn’t think were possible when they stepped into the gym. Shawn Vinz is a level 1 CrossFit Coach at CrossFit Progression in Rochester MN.  Shawn started CrossFit in November of 2010 and competed on Team CFP at the 2011 CrossFit North Central Regionals.  He is an active Triathlete with a goal of completing an Ironman. He has played Hockey for 20 years.  He played Division 1 at University of New Hampshire, playing in the NCAA tournament all 4 years of his college career.  He played pro for the Charlotte Checkers, part of the New York Rangers organization. Cory Felderman is a RKC Kettlebell coach at Crossfit Progression.  He is a level 1 certified Russian Kettlebell Challenge RKC instructor.  Cory has been working with kettlebells since 2009. Cory found kettlebells as a great way to build strength and endurance while complementing his high volume training for long distance events.  He has run many road races from 5ks to full marathons.  He also completed Ironman in 2010 and has competed in many triathlons since.  Cory says working with kettlebells helped him drastically improve his times while lowering the amount of conventional endurance training Outside the gym, Cory is an avid golfer.
