Coach Shawn Vinz
Coach Shawn Vinz
Shawn Vinz has accepted a position at The Mayo Clinic as a sports performance coach in sports medicine.  Shawn will be greatly missed by the CFP staff.  We wish him well in his new job and look forward to working out with him soon.
A note from Shawn:
“I want to take this opportunity to thank EVERYONE associated with CrossFit Progression, both members and staff alike-THANK YOU!  You ALL have given so much to me through being great people, good friends with incredible and inspiring efforts every day.  I recently accepted a new position at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester as a Sports Performance Coach in Sports Medicine, with an emphasis in hockey.  Hockey has been a part of my life both as a hobby and as a profession prior to joining  IBM and coaching at CFP.  I am very excited about my new position and to give back to a sport that has given me so many opportunities in life.  I will truly miss seeing all of your faces on a daily basis.  You will still see me around the gym, but now it may be as a workout partner instead of leading the whiteboard discussion of the daily agenda.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE and I will miss coaching all of you daily.
Keep being the great and inspiring people you are!”
